Soccer Field Layout
Soccer Field lot sizes required in an international games for adults should be between 100 to 110 meters and its width between 64 to 75 meters. Soccer Fields for none international games can be between 91 to 120 meters in length, and 45 to 91 meters width, in one condition – the field is not a square. Long boundary lines are called "party lines", while the short boundary lines are called goal lines. The goals themselves are rectangular and located in the center of the gate lines. Frame length is 7.3 meters standard and height of 2.44 meters above the field. In general, it is not required to place a net behind the gates.
Around every goal the is "wide goal area" (sometimes called "The 16 box"). This area was surrounded by the goal line, two lines of the 16.5 meters perpendicular to another line connecting them. Each of the lines perpendicular to a 16.5 beam that is nearby, creating a rectangle that defines the “16 box”. The “16 box” has number of uses, one of the major areas where the goalkeeper may touch the ball in his hand.
